All Your Data In One Place
At the core of Active SoftSwitch is an interactive and customisable dashboard. When you Sign-in you are taken to this single service hub where you are presented with a range of “Info Panels” containing the elements that you have selected to help you best run your service. Here you can fine tune your mix of Static Content, Live Feeds and Active Services.
Your Static Content you may include useful contact information for your service, for example your ICC account manager’s contact details. This information will update automatically should your account manager change.
Your Live Feeds could include live balance information, usage graphs, live tickets and alerts.
Your Active services may include “send marketing SMS”, “add new blog” and “add new web page” either from the main panel or from the menu. You decide on the mix and the elements of that mix.
Content Management Menu
To the left of the Info Panels you can see the black Content Management Menu offering full access to an extensive variety of content management tools. From here you can fully manage the settings for your site, its pages, themes, content, media, forms, rules, modules, widgets and so on.For more on these options see the Active Content Management section in Highlighted Features.
Above the Info Panels are a number of customisable Quick Buttons that take you to key elements of your service. Default settings include the following Quick Buttons and their destinations:
- Customers for Customer Billing and Call Management details held within our integrated Porta One service platform.
- Tickets - for Active, Pending and Solved tickets held within our integrated Zendesk service.
- Alerts - for Security Alerts and reports provided by STEM-Pro Security.
- Rates – For access to ICC's termination and SMS rates.
- Balance for your current balances you can spend on LIVE Services for example Calls and Virtual Number set-up.
Your Info Panels can contan the following information:
This Static Content info can present contact details of your ICC Account Manager or other key ICC contacts. This means you can always contact ICC quickly and easily.
This Live Feed info panel can present your currently open and pending Tickets. Clicking any of these tickets takes you straight to the Ticket System. No Hiding place here! You can now clearly see which tickets are waiting for an ICC response and which ones we are waiting for your response!!
This view is a summary of your organisation’s Tickets and you can also navigate back and forwards to view your tickets without leaving the Info panel.
LIVE balance has a specific meaning with ICC as it relates to the balance of your LIVE account rather than your Service Rental account. Here is the difference explained.Service Rental – this is your monthly invoice for all of your RENTAL services and must be paid in advance of using the services. LIVE Balance – this is your pool of credit which allows you to pay for live events, mainly making calls (termination or origination), but also buying DDI’s, paying set up charges and other one off or real time items. LIVE Balance payments may be made as part of a service rental invoice each month, or as a standalone invoice during the month.
The LIVE balance must always be in credit. IF you top up your LIVE balance as a line item on your monthly Service Rental invoice, your monthly Service Rental invoice might look like this;

This Info Panel typically contains monthly Vendor minute reports split by date and by Vendor and in calendar months and are presented as a pie chart. You can select current, last or previous months’ data. You can click on any of the Vendors to see the breakdown of the total minutes used split between any multiple connections for that Vendor. The back arrow takes you back to the main chart.
Recently Registered Customers
This live feed presents you with the latest registrations in chronological order with the date and time they signed up and the Customer name and email address. Clicking on the email icon will open your email client at a blank email, pre-addressed to them for you to send them a quick message.
This is a real-time graphic presentation of your customers live calls in progress, giving you an instant “sense check” of the way your service is behaving. The “Y” axis scale will automatically rise and fall with the fluctuation of call volumes as they connect and disconnect.
This info panel will contain output from your optional STEM-Pro Security monitoring if you have subscribed to that service. It will provide you with a list of the accounts that have most recently triggered a suspicious call pattern alert, so you can contact them and discuss the outcome. You can also present the list of vendor balances which appear in the 4 hour vendor balance report so that you can have a constant “sense check” of your vendor balances from the dashboard in addition to your email report.
