The SMS Customer Messaging App enables your Customers to use the Short Message System to send Text Messages to recipients from their Desktop PC and most other devices.
For example, a Dental Receptionist can send her clients an SMS text reminder of their up-coming appointments, direct from her PC in reception
Your Customers View
Each time your Customer wishes to send an SMS they can log on to your branded control panel, select their own account ID from a list, add the number of the person they wish to text and then add in the message characters and click the "Submit" button. The text will be sent to the recipient just as if it came from a mobile phone. The text messages are charged to their regular account.
This is a great time saver for regular business text senders.
To offer SMS Messaging from your Customers desktop you must first be using an Active SoftSwitch Lite, Enterprise or Ultimate Service Plan. This service is not available with Active SoftSwitch Pro.
After you have registered for service, or if you are already in service, you will be able to download the SMS End User App to your site using our Content Management Platform.
You can modify the appearance of the App to match it with your own branding and then launch the service to your customers.
You can charge for service rentals and texts, define your own rates and you can use our text message termination service or source your own.
Provisioning the Customer SMS App
Your customer responds to your advert for SMS Access. They compete the online form and submit it. The Form populates the database with customer details and issues a number to the account. If the account is in credit the customer is able to access their control panel and use the SMS Customer APP. An example of the "Send SMS" page is they will see (in your brand) is illustrated below.
