Add-on Apps and "App Sets"
Active SoftSwitch has a range of Add on Apps presented in "App Sets" to designed match a particular solutions. For example in order to run your Number Forwarding service you will need up to 7 individual Apps (registration, CDR's, Change Profile, etc.) which we have bundled together to become the Number Forwarding App Set.
Whilst all the core server services are common across most solutions, the service detail of a PBX replacement service is very different from the service detail of a Call Shop service or a Conference Calling service and each has an App Set Suitable for that service.
Using Active SoftSwitch, each Partner can tailor their service to match their needs by activating these individual Apps or App Sets during the sign up process or from their control panel.
Many of these Apps are free, whilst the more extensive ones are chargeable. For example the Change Password App is free (obviously) and in the basic App Set, whilst the Social media and marketing apps are collected toether in their own App Set.
Activate and Integrate
Once you have chosen an App or App Set, you need to activate it and begin to integrate it with your site and personalise it.
Most Apps are available to activate or install on a self-service basis with online setup and management. The more complex modules are delivered by one of our support engineers during an online session. The truly tailored solutions are delivered using our bespoke web development service (Tailor Made Software).

Modify and Publish
Our Content Management System enables modifications to the look and feel of the modules so that they fit perfectly with your existing site and you can take as much or as little time as you wish in preparing for the launch of your service.
It would be usual to integrate the customer facing elements with your own website look and feel, but leave the back office facing pages as clean and clear as they are out of the box. It's all up to you!
For example when you use the Local Numbers App, you can and modified it to use the background, styling, lines, text fonts and colours of the host site, to make it look and feel like a part of the rest of the site. However you may choose to leave all the back office pages in their original format because it works beautifully in its raw form. The example on the right is the back office page for the Local Numbers App.
