    We first met Alex in 2008 when he was working for Big Blue.

    Big Blue ran lots of Telco services and Alex ran Product Development.

    He wanted to launch a new VOIP Service without reinventing the wheel.

    He already had millions of minutes; he needed a Carrier Grade Class 4 IP switch for transit and billing. No frills, just stability, resilience, raw power.

    He bought Active SoftSwitch Professional with Porta One at the core. 

    Big Blue still use it, but Alex has moved on.

    Active SoftSwitch Enterprise

    5th of September, 2010

    By 2010 Alex had launched his own business with lots of fresh ideas.

    He wanted to get closer to his early customers like Anna, a Telemarketer.

    He told us he needed “all the power and reliability of Active SoftSwitch Pro, but with all the usual Class 5 Call Features and a great website" where his customers could "sign up and manage their own services”.

    Alex turned out to be very good at knowing what his customers wanted.

    He used Active SoftSwitch Enterprise with great content management.

    His customers love his service and Alex upgraded.

  • 2012

    Active SoftSwitch Enterprise Plus

    5th of September, 2012

    By 2012 Alex was ready to take on Resellers, Like Amad the Reseller.

    Amad was in his first business year and was already fed up with " flaky single server solutions" and wanted the stability of a carrier grade Switch, but could not afford it.

    He told Alex "I only want my customers to see MY brand and I want to manage my own termination vendors". 

    Alex gave him exactly what he wanted. 

     

    Alex used Active SoftSwitch Enterprise Plus with Branded Resellers.

    Amad is good at it and he's making money, Alex is achieving real scale and has again upgraded.

  • 2015

    Active SoftSwitch Ultimate

    1st of July, 2015

    By 2015 Alex was really growing his business.

    He was winning lots of direct Customers like Anna, the Telemarketer (and her sisters!). Most are using Business Services like SIP Trunking, Unified Messaging and other PBX replacement services.  

    Others were ITSP's running Call Conference Companies, Call Shops, Calling Card and Local Number Forwarding services and other Residential Telco Services.   

    And now Alex has some successful Resellers, like Amad the Reseller, who run their own fully branded services. 

    Alex has turned out to be very, very good.  

     

    Now he uses Active SoftSwitch Ultimate - He calls it "The Master Plan"
