Shopping cart allows registration for new customers as well as e-commerce capabilities to existing customers. Using shopping cart widget, your customers can add items to their basked from any page of their control panel and checkout to finalise the order. This widget provides the following:
1. Access to multiple payment options including payment with existing balance
2. Auto checkout - customer is sent to checkout page when they add any item to their cart
3. Additional transaction fees
4. Tax calculations (where tax is added to the final value or calculated as included)
5. Final billing address verification

Payment Gateway - PayPal
Integration with Paypal
Active SoftSwitch is integrated with PayPal. Customers can pay with their PayPal accounts or submit their credit card information directly to PayPal.
Payment Gateway - Ogone/Ingenico
Integration with Ogone
Active SoftSwitch is integrated with Ogone/Ingenico and their vast number of Payment Gateway partners. The customer is given the option to choose one of the many payment gateways Ogone supports while checking out. The customer then is sent to Ogone's relevant page and asked to enter their bank or card details.
Payment Gateway - PortaOne
Active SoftSwitch can use any background payment gateway supported by Porta Billing. Transaction instructions are sent to Porta, Porta takes money off the customer credit card, and informs Active SoftSwitch if the transaction was successful.
Admin Batch Forwarding
Setting URI forward to a batch number
In Active SoftSwitch Admin panel, an operator can set URI forwarding to a batch of numbers with few clicks. As an example, if a customer has purchased 20 consecutive DIDs, creation of these are quiet straight forward in PortaBilling. However, to forward these to customer's server, the operator would need to enable SIP-URI forwarding on all 20 accounts, and then set forwarding to server URI. With Batch Forwarding Module, Operator only needs to enter first DID, last DID and the SIP IP.
Administrators can add as many navigation items as required. Navigation items could be setup as:
1. Horizontal Navigation with drop down menus (on click or hover)
2. Vertical Navigation with accordion
Ability to credit your account
Balance top-up allows customers to either top up their account with an amount from a selection the admin provides, or the outstanding invoice value.
Projection allows rendering selection of content that is filtered by simple queries
As an example, if your site has many blog articles, you could group these articles by tags and show and under sub pages of your blog (Technology news, Press updates, What is new etc.)
Collecting information that can be submitted
With forms, an administrator can create custom forms such as contact us. Actions can be applied to these forms which will carry out simple tasks when a form is submitted.
Balance module shows customer or account balance
The information displayed can be customised to show "Available Balance" (difference between credit limit and balance. Generally used for prepaid customers.) or "Balance and Credit Limit" (used for post-pay customers)
The values displayed can be overwritten to have positive or negative values.
Login module uses Porta credentials to allow Root users, Resellers, Customers and Accounts to login to the Active SoftSwitch CMS through a single interface.
Login can also be triggered using a POST action to automate customer login through a 3rd party software such as Cloud Softphone. This allows the user to access their control panel in Cloud Softphone without having to login to it.
Payment Gateway - Manual Payment
Enabling Manual Payment
When Manual Payment is enabled, customers can be given following payment options:
1. Bank Transfer: Customer selects bank transfer. After they check out, they are provided with bank details they need to transfer money to. When the money is received, the administrator can authorise the transaction id Admin Dashboard. This will trigger the customer and account creation.
2. Use own balance: An existing customer can have the option to use his own balance to pay for his purchase. This option is only available if it is enabled by admin as well as if the customer has the funds to cover the checkout value.
Rate Calculator can calculate cost to specific destination entered by the customer
Several options are available for this module. Admin can create rate calculator for services such as Calling Card, Callback and SIP calls. Each version comes with its own options such as defining different tariffs per access number type.
Informative posts on the websites.
Blogs can be posted to websites to keep people up to date with offers and services. This module also creates an RSS feed.
This feature displays upcoming charges.
These charges are calculated through subscriptions owned by the customer and their accounts. The module can also group subscriptions such as DID monthly fees for ease of read.
xDR Module displays Customer Call Records, Monthly Fees as well as Money Transactions.
These 3 views can be switched on and off which allows you to show call records on one page while showing transaction history on a different page (i.e. top-up page).
Call History section of the xDR module has an option to hide costs to destinations. This is useful when giving web access to extension owners. This section also has the option to hide incoming calls from the call records.
Rate Table displays rates from a selected tariff
It can either list all destination prefixes per country or list summary of rates of all countries per initial letter.
Welcome module is a modified HTML module where tokens can be used to create personalised messages
The data for the tokens are taken from Porta such as customer name, email address, balance etc.
This Module generally is used on the first page to welcome the customer to their control panel (hence the module name). However, it can also be used in all instructional context on each page.
Customers or Accounts can edit their profile details in this module.
The fields and tabs defined in the profile module can be fully customised by the admin. Admin decides how to group the fields, which fields have read or edit permissions, as well as which fields are required to be filled.
A country list is presented in a drop down menu.
When the customer selects a country from the dropdown menu, the relevant rates are displayed in a summary view. The widget will find the local rate and mobile rate from termination tariff defined as well as SMS rate for Messaging tariff in Porta Billing. This Module has 2 views; extended and mini.
