Some subscription services that are sold by the reseller could be purchased from the operator. Porta out of the box does not charge reseller a subscription fee if the reseller sells one of these services. This Active SoftSwitch module contains mapping of subscriptions that should be applied to reseller when reseller assigned a subscription to his sub customer.


Admin SMS Tools

Sending batch text messages


Admin SMS Tool allows administrators to send batch text messages to their customers. An administrator can filter their customers by their balance or last usage date of their accounts.


Masked Number Management

This interface allows administrators to upload, list, and delete destinations to Porta's masked numbers table.


Extensions Summary

Extension summary will list all available extension and their registration status


The module will also highlight extensions that are on a call, similar to BLF. This module is commonly used as a part of secretarial console or wallboard.


Verify Card

Card Verification


Verify card is a security feature that works with Porta Payment Gateway integration. If a new card is used, a random (min and max values are defined by administrator) value is taken from customers credit card at checkout stage. The order then is put on hold. The customer is required to enter this random value correctly by checking their bank. This can be done anytime after the order is complete. A widget will be displayed in control panel pages until this value is entered successfully. When the card is validated, the remaining value of the order is taken from the card to finalise the transaction. 


Web Callback

Web Callback enables several features on the website


1. When Web Callback is enabled, widgets like Phonebook, Extension Management gain access to "click to call" feature. When a destination number is clicked in these widgets, the module will call the specified account or number first, and then will call the destination. A customer with higher privileges can trigger from any of the SIP accounts while an extension owner can only trigger a Callback from their own account.

2. Web Callback widget also provides the site owner with the ability to give "Call Me now" feature to their customer's own websites. A customer can generate the code they need to insert to their own website which allows their customers or prospects to trigger a "call me now" request.

3. Web Callback also comes with an API that can be used in 3rd party applications such as Cloud Softphone.

Integrates Mailchimp to Active SoftSwitch


This widget integrates MailChimp to Active SoftSwitch which enables customers to signup to news letters.


Reseller Reports

Resellers are able to view and download reports that are not available in PortaBilling directly such as:

This widget integrates MailChimp to Active SoftSwitch which enables customers to signup to news letters.


Call Forward

Call forwarding module allows customers to setup follow me scenarios for their accounts


Destination fields are prepopulated with nicely organised groups such as other SIP Accounts of the customer, Fax accounts, IVR Accounts, Hunt Groups etc. to make forwarding a simple process. Each destination in the follow me list can be dragged and dropped to the required order. Destinations can ring on specific order or simultaneously. Customer can also define Active period for each destination.


Language/Culture Switcher

Option to use multiple languages


With this module, you can run multiple languages on your site and give the option to switch between the languages to your customers. This module also allows you to run 2 separate languages on 2 individual domains such as www.yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.de

This widget integrates Active Campaign to Active SoftSwitch which enables customers to signup to news letters.


Zendesk Integration

Ability to view tickets


With Zendesk Integration module, customers can view their opened and pending tickets in their control panel. Clicking on the ticket will log them in to Zendesk automatically.

A simple support link can be provided to log customers in to Zendesk automatically without displaying ticket summary.


Balance Transfer

Transferring balances from one account to another


A customer can send an amount of their balance from their account to their friend or family on the same platform. The admin configuration of this module allows setting what type of transfers are allowed: Customer to Account, Account to Account, Account to Customer or all to all.


Virtual Numbers Purchasing

Customers can buy DIDs through this module. An Admin can sell DIDs from the Porta inventory or through one of their DID Supplier.


If a DID is not in stock but a price is present, the system will automatically purchase the DID from a 3rd party vendor. When customer cancels the DID, this number will be terminated from the vendor to avoid further cost to the business.

Gold and silver algorithms can be defined to charge premium setup fee for these numbers.


Volume Discount Purchasing

Customers can purchase volume discount plans using this module.


The relevant volume discount plan can be applied to individual accounts or to the customer (admin setting). A subscription will be added to automate monthly charges.


Set CLI

Customer can select one of his existing DIDs or his mobile number as his CLI.


Customer can select one of his existing DIDs or his mobile number as his CLI. As an admin, you can force the customer to verify his mobile number with an SMS verification code before allowing the customer to use his mobile number as his CLI for his SIP Account.


CLI Authentication

Call Line Identification


This module allows the customer to add their phone numbers to their Calling Card Pin to allow the system to authenticate them pinless. This module will create two aliases in PortaBilling for each number - with and without country code
